Today's the day ....................... for a meeting of minds

What a lovely day we have had today with Jane and Rob - round at the Knottmans in Arnside.

I suppose it was a blipmeet of sorts, as four out of the six were blippers, but really it was more a meeting of minds as we are all more than a little interested in plants and wildlife.  It was the promise of a personally-guided tour of the Knottmans' garden with all its wonderful orchids and alpines that had made it an irresistible invitation.

And then, after a delicious lunch, we set off for a walk round Arnside to see at first hand, some of the locations that are a feature of Mr K's blips.  The sun was shining and the sky was blue by this time - and Arnside looked at its best.  It was perfect weather for those participating in the  'Cross the Sands'  walk that was just setting off as we reached the promenade (see extra).

There was just time for cooling drink out on the patio after the walk before we had to leave.  Thank you so much Mr and Mrs K - we had a lovely time .......................
