Raging River

..... and a little wagtail. The extra, a different bird, shows what he was trying to catch above the river in a moment of sunshine this afternoon. Otherwise the colour of the river tells the story of the last 12 hours' weather.... more of that on the way.

We had a lovely surprise today, we were expecting son and granddaughter but the whole family came to see us, so 5 people instead of 2. Now we are waiting for a call from my oldest friend and husband who should have arrived in Geneva airport by now. We could be 9 for dinner tonight!
