Showing bad behaviour

AKA Showing / bad behavour. AKA what I brought back from Westmorland show.
Showing bad behaviour is the name of this Border Fine Arts piece which just happened to be half price...it seemed a shame to leave it there!
The rosettes are the results of my showing. The bad behaviour relates to the green rosettes which say cup winner on the 'tails'. Of the three I won only one was available to collect; two had not been returned by previous winners. Quite a lot of shows lost cups after the non-showing year of Foot and Mouth Disease but it is such a shame. Many of the shows engrave winners' names on the cups. One I won last year (Rebecca won it this year, well done Becky!) had dates going back over fifty years and some of the great names of goat-keeping on it. What a shame for all that history to be lost. I don't suppose it is just goat cups that are missing either!
