Lizzie and Frank kindly looked after Jess for a whole month last year when we were in Ethiopia. Next week Lizzie is having her for a day while Frank, D and I go to the Bass Rock with Dunscore Birdwatching Group. Between then and now......Frank and Lizzie have a dog of their own...so today I took Jess to meet her.

Bella May is such an adorable dog! She was rescued as a puppy from Romania where she was found wandering the streets. Then she went to a family in England, but they couldn't keep her because their little boy got wheezy around her. So lucky Bella May has come to live with Frank and Lizzie, who love her to bits. Jess wasn't quite so sure - Bella May is bigger and more lively and wanted to play, and she also wanted my attention. It was like watching a couple of toddlers and trying to get them to share their toys. It was all peaceful, though. Lizzie and I had a cup of tea and a chat and there were no arguments. Hopefully next week they will enjoy each other's company :-)
