the view from here

most of my day was taken up by the choir concert and rehearsals for it. I took my camera but my mind was on the singing (as it should have been!) so I didn't take any good photos. 
Here is a view from the front row of the choir during our practice with the quartet from Moniaive - Wendy Stewart on harp in front of me, Stuart McPherson on bass and Ruth Morris on nyckelharpa. Kate, our choir director, is conducting. Later on the chairs filled up and we sang, in a blaze of purple, with the Scottish Ensemble. It was a wonderful experience, and I'm ready for my bed now :-)
