Thundering down

Biblical, torrential rain for a few minutes earlier this afternoon; I took this shot of the birdbath in the garden from the kitchen window. Shame I couldn't have attached an audio file to the photo - the thunder seemed to be in 360 degrees surround sound, with the epicentre immediately above.
Five minutes later: bright sunshine with some blue sky.

Off in to town tonight; a meal followed by the theatre.
