Lost... in a dream.

This is a weird one!
I shot a pano about a week ago in an area of urban bushland just across the road from where I live, and it got me thinking about how I could redo it, and somehow add a figure into the mix. I shot it at a place where the path forks into two and the concept of a lost child in the bush started running around in my head.
The original photo, after processing, was dark, moody, and dreamlike. So I enlisted the help of my daughter Kath, and of we went to the shoot location.
When I shot the original I used 4 images with around about 50% overlap. Today I went for 6 and kind of blew it. The registration got messed up somehow. Once processed the photo turned out to be blurred and distorted in places. In a lot of places actually. I thought that I should do a reshoot, but realised that the existing photograph essentially captures (for me at any rate) a dreamlike state, where reality is fluctuating, distorted and unreal.
As for the lost child in the bush concept, I didn't have access to a young person and wasn't going to ask a neighbour for the loan of their young 'un for obvious reasons, so I had to make do with an older person.
I resisted the impulse to crop the stitching scollops on the edges, as I like them and again they seem to add to the photo.
The panorama was shot on the iPhone 4s with ProCamera, stitched with Autostitch, finessed in Lr4.1, and further worked on in Snapseed (desktop).
I really like this image, despite it trying to do my head in after looking at it for to long.
:-))

Much better larger.
