Birdsnest

After a stroll at Quarry Loch near Blair Drummond, we went off elsewhere to check on this nest. At first we thought it empty but then we spotted a head bob up out of the huge pile of sticks then a few moments later, the other bird arrived and they did a swap over. I was just too slow to catch the two of them together but I did get this shot before the returning bird snuggled down and all but vanished into the depth.
Very happy to see as I can assume there are chicks in there too.
