At the "Pelpies".

Midweek and it was James day today but also Eve day. We picked up Eve from her nursery so James had his cousin for company for a while. However, we took James to the Kelpies as usual for a good stroll round.
Moving on to today's extra shot, those Kelpies have been receiving quite a lot of engineering attention over the last few weeks. Today's extra looks like a rather large ear cleaning exercise! We spoke to one of the engineers who advised that they were replacing some screws which were "too short"! Well, I am no engineer but I would have selected good old nuts &bolts or even spot welding on something this big! And they are only three years old! Why am I not really surprised?
