Sights and sounds of Barcelona

A day of mixed transport and sights. Out on a short cruise this morning to see Barcelona from out at sea. Then back on the bus up to Montjuic and onto the cable car (against my better judgement!) up to the castle (extras). Then cable car back down and Sangria (again!) in a little cafe. I found a photo of Joe in my purse and said "you would have enjoyed this morning" at which point there were tears from everyone - oops! Walked to the Olympic village, and back via the beautiful Art gallery and Montjuic Fountain (extras). We then got lost so walked miles to get back to the hotel. Mashed feet, but we then walked another few miles for dinner, so lots of sangria to numb the feet! Main photo for the day had to be the wonderful door of the cathedral which we passed just as the sun was setting and giving a lovely rose glow to the roof.
