Meet Topaz Opossum

This little honey with the adorable ears....big blue eyes, and sweet little paws is Mr. Topaz Opossum.  He has captured our hearts in a BIG way for such a tiny little guy.  He eats, sleeps and pees....no poop yet, but his super power is making us say, "awwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!"  

Monday was Memorial Day.  We were grateful for those that have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 

We were glad to have a day home with Topaz.  He needed us...and we needed him.  It was a quiet and fun day of bonding.  He is looking 100% better than when we got him.  This makes us so happy.  

Toby is treating him much like he treats the baby bunnies.  He sniffs him....rubs on him a little and walks away.  We are really wondering how well Toby's hearing is.  He doesn't react with Topaz meows at all.  Ivy dog is so interested...and wants to lick and love the baby all the time.  

Sugar is sleeping with baby in the bathroom still.  Up a few times in the night to feed him.
