The only shot I've managed to take today.


Thanks for all the good thoughts for Doyle.  They are trying new drugs on her today in the hopes of an improvement.

While I was talking to Doyle's Internist on the phone Naboo was shouting (miaowing) very loudly at me - Is that Doyle's brother I can hear? asked the doctor. It was a welcome bit of levity in the conversation - happily the doctor has had no cause to meet Naboo but was very amused to hear him.

We went in to the hospital this evening to spend some time again with Doyle, to give her lots of hugs and kisses. She's still in the critical care unit and was pretty spaced out on pain meds. I also took in some of her favorite treats and foods in the hopes of tempting her.

I do hope tomorrow brings better news.
