Buff tip

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone for the stars hearts and comments on my Swallowtail butterfly, I feel truly blessed by your generosity, I will try my hardest thank you all, but if by chance I miss anyone, I really am very grateful,
Today's blip is a moth trap offering, the Buff tip moth Phalera bucephala, a grand master of camouflage, seen here neatly disguised as a birch twig! For a relatively large moth (wingspan 42 - 55mm) it is really difficult to see once it has settled down, especially on Birch twigs.
It is relatively common here in the south.
I took my ipad pro to the apple service outlet today and it is officially dead!! just got to wait now for apple to check it and supply me with a new one!
