For the Fallen Heroes ...

Mono Monday: Week 175 .......... Defining the Moment.

With today being Memorial Day here in the States I came upon this very poignant memorial to all the fallen heroes. 

We actually saw this yesterday while we were out and I made plans to return today to get some photos for Mono Monday.  I used a couple of different filter programs in Photoshop to create my own little piece of artwork.  I hope you like the result ... I do. 

Sobering fact of the day: More than 1.1 million American soldiers have died since the Revolutionary War in 1775.
