Eye to Eye

Early dawn by the river and the geese were dozing then saw me coming! However all was good as they did a bit of screeching at first then a bit of grazing and settled down for another snooze ......... was just faaar too early!

So, my action shot then.......nope!!!

Started off by sneaking up and quietly setting up the tripod, gently kneeling in the sodden grass and very quietly getting sorted for a close up. All well and good but nothing was happening at all and I resorted to tut tutting at them and then clicking my fingers to get them to open an eye!!

An exercise in feathers then!!
