Common blue damselfly

Went for a quick walk with the dogs and encountered many of these along the path. It's near a reservoir, and they will have just recently hatched. I had never seen a damselfly until today, loved seeing the blue ones, little electric blue sprites. Back in my own garden another first, I spotted ladybird larvae, had never seen one of those either. Was delighted to see I have a bumblebee nest again under the house, the many frogs chilled out in a big group in the pond, and finally mid afternoon one of my resident fox cubs woke up early and ventured into the garden. :-)
