African Spotted Owl

I had lovely afternoon at the local Raptor Foundation.  I am not normally swayed by the fluffy factor, but the owls were rather special.  This is Sharnie and I was very pleased with the shots I got of her, but the fussy tree background made it hard to make her stand out - hence the heavy mono processing.

The extras show a lannet falcon called Luna in flight and mantling over her just rewards. 

The 70-300 is doing well!
