green and gold

Last night's concert went really well (I think), anyway I really enjoyed it. Today I've tried to slow down a little and just enjoy the garden - listening to the buzzy bees on the cotoneaster, watching swallows swoop low over the lawn, and looking at the flowers in the border. I actually lay down between the plants to take this photo - a view from the soil!
