Contrasts

Got to Vancouver this afternoon, after a long lazy start and via another brewhouse in Squamish. Met a few of The Girl Racer's colleagues and saw her office. She seems universally popular and admired. So proud and happy dad.

Went for a walk as the sun went down. A city of real contrasts with small colonial or old style buildings on street corners surrounded by skyscrapers and lovely leafy residential streets a block away from the buzz of a big city.

Fantastic Air b n b in the heart of the city. 14 floors up and brilliant location. Feels very homely and nice for the three of us to be under one roof.
