Melting in Luca's

Oh my goodness, it's been another roasting day in Edinburgh! After lunch my colleague Tom and I tried to cool down with a sorbet and an ice cream from Luca's (blipped). Our plan didn't really work, but we still enjoyed our purchase.

Today was another 'deadline Friday'. We managed to submit three grant proposals by the 5pm deadline. (My own actually went in much earlier because I started work soon after I woke at 04:20!)

Before I left work I made sure that I set my email to out-of-office. Mr hazelh are on holiday as of this evening. We're looking forward to heading north and west tomorrow.

Exercise today: walked to work (13,350 steps).
