Behind the cupboard

While tidying up I came across  an unexposed and boxed Fujicolor film.  I dug out my old CL but of course the battery was long since dead. A vague memory of a spare sent me hunting and to my surprise I found it.

Now the meter in a CL is a bit of a snowflake but after some muttering and cursing it sprang into action.  As you can see from the extra it is the little arm with a cds cell which springs out of the way (we hope) when the shutter opens.
 
I'll give it a go but suspect the film is too far gone.
