Den building

Ok - this is a picture from yesterday - but it's such a lovely picture of my lovely friend, his boy and my boy. 

We went to see the house we've been waiting to see for about a week today - we had very high hopes after peering through the windows on Wednesday afternoon..... Except upstairs was tiny! The conversation was whether we'd fit much of our furniture in - and we wouldn't.  And I was convinced this was THE one.  So we went to another house we'd arranged to see as a bit of a just in case.  Wow, stunning, probably about twice the size, amazing views, beautiful kitchen.  But it gets better, the estate had another house available and asked if we'd like to see it, as we pulled up, I couldn't quite believe that it was in our price range - we're in love. 

We've put an application in and have to wait for the estate trustees to make a decision - apparently there are 4 applications in already, so we're not getting our hopes up, despite having everything crossed!
