Unexpectedly gloomy day today, weather-wise.  Everything else-wise it was fine, except for the garage not calling, and me forgetting to call them to remind them I would really really like my car back.

Some work, some reading, some tidying (it suddenly occurred to me that TallGirl's birthday sleepover is tomorrow, and I still have all the baking and cooking to do - though she only just finalised the menu (!) so I don't feel so bad about not having started on it.)

Hopefully tonight's rain will get rid of the heavy clammy feeling in the air. 

After school, CarbBoy's recently ordered Pokemon cards arrived, which he opened with great ceremony and (when he found this one) much whooping and hollering.  I have no idea.  (But at least I don't need WD40 to keep this hobby in tip-top condition like with those spinny things.)
