Woodland walk.

Today I went through to Portobello to have lunch with S. Afterwards he took me to Newhailes, now a National Trust property, a Palladian house originally built in the 17th century. The house was owned by the Dalrymple family and featured prominently in the Scottish Enlightenment. The grounds are full of pathways and walks and we had a pleasant afternoon stroll.
