Still Some Autumn Colours About

After a heavy frost the day was sunny but very cold. You could see the snow on the hills near Christchurch.

I had my eye test today and had to get some new glasses. This time they are not going to cost so much as the prices have dropped. All up it is cost just over $12,00. That is for new frames, which were $170 and the rest is for the testing and two pairs of lenses. One pair was for reading.

The bad news of the day this the people have pulled out of the contract. It was because of a combination of finances, not being able to get insurance and the building report. We now have the building report and it isn't as bad as the last one. It was more about what may happen with the building as it didn't find any major problems.
