As I was waiting for a bus to take me to the station I noticed family Swan out on the water....but however hard I looked I could not see any more than four cygnets. It was only two days ago that there were five (the extra). :-(

Train down to that London, where J met me at Kings Cross - she had run down from her home in Canonbury (she did the London marathon a few weeks back) but fortunately indulged me in getting the bus back ! Had a lovely evening, first being shown round her new (to her) house and garden and then getting caught up with the OU gossip over a meal and a glass of wine. You couldn't make it up.
