Autumnal

I really like the word Autumnal :)

Popped into town this morning and on my way home I found quite a few leaves on the ground, in various colours, green, yellow and orange. So I picked a handful of them up and took them home to photograph them, individually and as a group.

This is my favourite.

I tried to do something with it in photoshop to make the background darker but it just wasn't working (probably because all I know about photoshop is how to potter and tinker and hope for the best, rather than knowing how to use it properly).

So this is it straight out of the camera.

I like how the sun has caught it and it looks fiery

I really like autumn. I like the changing colours of the tees, walking through fallen autumn leaves, the bright sunny days (even if they can be chilly willy).
It also means we are coming up to Halloween (which is alright, not my favourite holiday day) and Bon Fire Night which is my favourite.
