Calling at a friends

On a wet and uninviting day it was difficult to capture the majesty of the Dales. We had a great day though visiting the Bedale Community Bakery this morning then Leyburn market before going over to Reeth and Langethwaite to visit some friends of ours who own a cottage there. The blip is of their cottage. It was lovely. We came bearing gifts - home baked scones, clotted cream and jam and had a cup of tea and a long relaxing chat. Lovely last day.

Now for a meal in the house and discussion of my writing, yikes the truth will out.
