On track
Some time ago MrM was commissioned to make a guitar-bouzouki hybrid, and this evening we went down to Gateshead to hand the instrument over its new owner, who had travelled up from Yorkshire.
On the way down we stopped near Powburn, for a walk with Louie along this disused railway track, now a very pleasant path. Especially at this time year with May blossom and wild flowers in profusion.
The plan, on arrival in Gateshead, was to have a meal, hand over the instrument and look round IKEA (as MrM wanted a couple of items for the workshop from there). But, as usual, we were later than intended! So it was fish and chips in the car and, once we had parted with the instrument, a quick dash round IKEA (in and out in 20 minutes - must be a record!). MrM bought what he needed, but there was no time to look round...
