Approaching storm, Hallin Fell, Ullswater

Visited Martindale today, and climbed Hallin fell. The views down the valley were fabulous, despite the fact that the day started with heavy rain; by the time we reached our destination, the sun was shining and there was fascinating clouds and cloud-shadows.

Reached the top of Hallin fell before lunch, and stayed up there for a while.The weather was pure Cumbrian, with sunshine one moment and heavy rain the next. This was shot just as one of the storms was sweeping across the lake, 2 minutes later it hit us.

Great group, they worked with the high winds and changeable conditions really well and produced some great pics.
