One down, one hundred and fifty nine to go...

I took this picture originally because I had cleared some piles of books away from the top of the shelf, where they were presenting a hazard, and because I was so pleased to have fitted all the books into the shelf!

This is my to-read shelf. I published the photo on my blog, or facebook, and a discussion ensued, which prompted me to finally read We Need to Talk about Kevin. Riveting it was. Since then, I cannot recall having read a single one of the other books on this shelf, though reason tells me I must have done so. More books have appeared, stacked horizontally on top of the shelf: books that I have bought and may never read.

I decided to publish this as a backdated blip because it represents my life rather well. A to do list that seemingly has no end, nor begininning! More of my/our books here
