Day 73: Fluffy Friend
Cuter curves in large.
Seeing the geese and goslings lifted my spirits, even though the day had become rather grey and drizzly...
There was sunshine in the morning so I had plenty of light for macro photos at the botanic gardens. I whiled away time between seeing people by reading in the atrium cafe at the Weston Library (after finding its quiet bustle v. appealing yesterday), and ambled around Christ Church Meadow in the early evening, spotting the leucistic Egyptian goose as well as loads of (droplet-beaded) goslings.
Today's other very various pics are on Flickr here (or right from here).
Botanic Gardens highlights:
Honey bees: in flight, perching/drinking, on Osteospermum (close), poised on Osteospermum
Peacock butterfly: from the right, from the left, v. tattered
Other insects: ashy mining bee, hoverfly
