A day of sea stacks

We took the boat over to Hoy then cycled the 10 miles and walked the 5 miles round trip to the Old Man of Hoy. We had such a perfect day for it - the wind had dropped which made the uphill easier on the bikes and the sun came out so we got lovely bright shots of the very calm sea.

Back in Stromness Mr C went on a hunt for a Guardian but no luck. Meanwhile I went to the swimming pool and had a wonderful hot shower - we have a shower in the van but not too warm and very squashed so this was a real treat for £2.

Now we are wild camped at Yesnnaby on the clifftop. We walked another couple of miles to see some more sea stacks.
