Sent to Coventry
The morning didn't quite get off to the start I had planned. During our walk in the pitch black Lottie decided to roll in something dead. I didn't notice until the sun came up and she stood next to me to put her lead back on...Mrs Stinky Mcwinky! She was gross! I frogmarched the three of them home and put her in the bath. I think she knew I was cross because she was very well behaved! Somehow I managed to add the bathing episode into the morning routine and still be on the treadmill at 6.32am. Miracle!
Great intervals session, my body clearly likes the morning training! Sprints at 19km/h quite comfortably for eight twenty second sprints. Cut the recovery down to thirty five seconds and added ten minutes of running at the start and end of the session. Loads of stretching, my body feels good for it.
School was school. Busy but enjoyable. I am a woman on a mission for uniform and the kids think I am a real cow bag for chasing up their rolled up sleeves and incorrect uniform 'additions'. Not that I care. I didn't get my Dr Doom nickname for nothing! I managed to see eleven lessons and cram in a shed load of paperwork as well as an SLT meeting and a meeting with my boss. Time seems to be standing still for me during the day which is very nice!
Home for our evening walk, Lottie managed to find aforementioned dead animal (mouse, I think) and give it a good old chewing over. Grossety gross. I sent her to Coventry. She doesn't really seem to give a stuff. No surprise there then! Rags was off his lead and a little gem, leaping about like a puppy and enjoying all the fun. He has settled in so well, I've very relieved!
Bedtime now. Really looking forward to talking to you tomorrow night, I miss our conversations. Hope you enjoy your last day of term before your four days off!xxx
