Pools of blue

I managed a short early morning walk round Thorpe Wood to soak up the last of the bluebells which are now beginning to fade, before embarking on another day of party preparations. Everything's finally coming together for the big day...

The day was made extra long by an evening trip to Stansted to pick Chris up after his visit to Bulgaria. I hadn't realised that one carriageway of the A14 was closed at night due to roadworks, and the diversion added about twenty minutes to the journey. By the time I finally got to bed sometime after midnight I was shattered!
