Looking north across the estuary from the Moutere River mouth to where the clouds were parting momentarily. (That makes two m's)
Heavy rain overnight measured 40mm, sun showers during the day, and now pouring again. The ground is so sodden the water table must be just underneath our feet. The poor beggars trying to pick fruit and get it to market must be tearing their hair out.
