Driving into the rain
This wee vehicle had obviously arrived on the pier at Achnacroish to collect something or someone from the ferry coming over from Oban. The way he headed down the pier towards the sea at great speed made me wonder if he would stop before the water hit his wheels, but in fact he executed a perfect u-turn and came to a rest facing up the pier on the opposite side.
Homewards today. And the weather had definitively broken. We were accompanied by quite nasty rain most of the way back to Edinburgh. It started to ease soon after we hit the M9 in Stirling and back here it was generally fine, although it obviously had been raining.
We've spent the afternoon reconstructing, or beginning the process of reconstructing our living room. We've come up with a completely different set up for settee, table, chairs, etc. Let's see if we like it. That's one thing I love about this living space, which is that you can easily rearrange it. We think this is going to maximise our enjoyment of the light in the room.
One extra - a picture taken out of our bedroom patio doors this morning, into the rain. A beautiful view up Loch Linnhe even though the weather was imperfect. Sad to leave Lismore. What a beautiful few days. One more link to my flickr album.
