Wearing my Sunday Best

Achieved a whole lot of nothing apart from grass cutting and clothes washing today. I did accidentally nudge a blackbirds nest while tackling the ivy taking over the front of the house and sent Mr Black Bird cockahoop. I graciously and apologetically backed off from any more ivy strangling to let him make sure his pride and joy were okay.

Failed birthday visit to my niece, missed her by 10 minutes as she'd headed back to Edinburgh for exams. Had a cuppa with my sister and the super soft Duffy and Tess before embarrassing said daughter by walking around to meet up with Dave and Sam in my custom made t-shirt. It says Scottish and European on the back too, just for good measure.

Didn't get a beach visit in this weekend. Shocking.
