Highly Unsprung

Out wit da ladieeeeeees

Putting our worlds to rights again over a bar supper and some liquid refreshments. Sharon has now earned her classroom time as a fully qualified teacher after juggling work, kids and life in general. Wendy rushed in after a dance rehearsal for a couple of GnTs despite running the Baker Hughes 10k tomorrow (hardcore) then she'll be heading straight to an intense dance rehearsal afterwards (madness, madness!). She says it keeps her out of mischief. Kim continues to walk for Scotland, negotiate the world of kids transitioning into adults and remains the font of all wisdom on natural solutions to digestive health matters. I was the only one who had puddding, hahahaha, what a surprise. In my defence, Kim helped a little with the cheesecake. She was taking one for the team to help my digestive health. As for mental health, it's the end of mental health week and I've resisted the urge to tell my decades long saga of diagnosis, treatment and dark times as others have done, but here's a shout out to those that know that learning to manage whilst giving the illusion of remaining high functioning is exhausting, yet having an outlet through friendships is definitely one of life's lifesavers. Writing, even in mundane daily life blips, can be another one of life's lifesavers. Here's to genuine friendship and finding something to write about in the everyday.
