The one totally finished room in the house
Busy day, so house blip...
As far as I know this is the only room that doesn't have some unfinished todo's for it. All others have something, sometimes big, sometimes small (plaster fix or adding some lighting)
We've come a long way since my last blip of it - and you should have seen it when the wall was just wood frames!
I love the colour of the walls, it's a lovely cool brown, not totally neutral. It's actually best described as "clean cardboard" because it really matches the colour of cardboard/kraft paper, but more in a more vibrant version. Obviously from a marketing point of view they had to find some other name for it (although who knows, "cardboard house" would attract attention) which I have long forgotten.
It was also hard work to find sinks small enough to fit in the space, but useful enough - and R really wanted 2 sinks!
You can't see it's best feature - the wall and cabinets on the left. Perhaps I will blip it (or perhaps I already have?). Textured wall and textured cabinets (technically these are kitchen cabinets, but we had no choice since most bathroom furniture is, well, unimaginative) and a superb brown-blue labrador stone.
Of course I cannot help to like it, since it is the only finished room in the house. I reminds me that we can, sometimes, get there :)
