Sunshine, Shadows and Silhouettes

It's a lovely day....but quite breezy so I was surprised to see this comma butterfly out and about this morning. She was sitting on some nettles in a sheltered spot in the undergrowth opening her wings when the sun shone and closing them when it went behind the clouds.

It's a normal Tuesday here....cleaning, washing, ironing etc, etc. Lucy is getting a LOT of homework from her new school so not sure if she'll have time to spare to go swimming this evening....we shall see! Rob has some homework to do for tomorrow as well....hope he doesn't ask me to help him - since when did Y9 maths become so hard?????
