Birthday Girl

Daughter A enjoying her 21st birthday.

What a great evening we all had while rain pelted at the windows and gale force winds howled round the restuarant. We had the top floor all to ourselves, a small gathering which was quite cosy. The balloons of red, white and blue brought vibrance to the character filled room in dark wood and dim lights. Our power point of Daughter A through the years filled the room with laughter and 'Awww's'.

It was special to have my mum and aunt with us, my cousin and her family and my dear brother who made a quick trip from Sydney, everyone arrived no matter the weather.

A confession, it was Daughter A's flatmate who took this photo and all the rest through the evening - thanks so much L, we are thrilled with them. I didn't take one photo but really wanted this one to mark the occasion - it is a diary after all.
