Moods
A beautiful sunrise greeted us this morning followed by blue sky and lots of sun but by lunch the cloud crept in and has hung round with just a peep of blue sky.
Mum and I headed into Christchurch to get a few jobs done. Disheartening to see bare open spaces, lots of rubble and the roads full of potholes, while men and machinery are hard at work. After groceries were done and dusted we had some time to chat over lunch then stopped by the lakes on the way home.
Quiet at the lakes with a colony of shags nesting in the willows. The water was calm with just a few little ripples and a quiet reflection from the sky above. I really liked the silvery tones of this shot with just a hint of blue and being able to follow the water through the trees.
I was spoilt to reach the spotlight page yesterday, I'm glad you enjoyed the Spring Crocuses. Thank you for your stars, hearts and kind words. For those interested Daughter E's audition went well, shes performing with some friends at a Variety Concert later this month - thankfully the new jazz pants were fine onced I had hemmed them.
Thursday just about over and Friday knocking at the door with the excitment of the Rugby World Cup!!
