Well I never...

expected to see this. I went into Hamburg today to the Planten un Blomen park, where the Tibetan Centre was celebrating its 40th anniversary with a special event.  On my way through the park I spotted this log - covered with turtles!  I looked in disbelief - but they were real, live turtles.  I couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't know there were turtles in the lakes.  More in extras, including colourful buddhist prayer flags, a duck and more turtles... :-)
