Port Patterns

The sunny weather we have been enjoying vanished today, replaced by cloud skies and cooler temperatures. That was okay as we had much work in the yard to accomplish and the overcast sky kept us from getting overheated. A solid six hours of heavy labor, digging flowerbeds, moving turf, leveling pathways, burying drainage pipes, left us hungry and tired. Our exhaustion, however, didn't stop us from walking home three miles after dinner at a local restaurant. Along the way I captured these patterns which begged to be converted to black and white for maximum impact.
