Mi riccordo niente

I struggle to remember what it was I did today - looking back from Saturday. I think lots of stuff to do with the house - an email to the lawyer - and maybe some cleaning.

This is a house where they are selling off the pile of rocks to the right of the main building. An old granary that could be rebuilt into an attractive house. Probably total costs would be between €300 and 400 thousand.

I did go and have a look at it down a tortuous and steep track. This house too is built on a knoll that stands above the slippage zone around it. The 'anziani' the old timers/ancients really knew where to build houses - presumably through some pretty bitter experiences.

In the town near to the house we are buying there are some new 'case popolare' - council houses more or less - that have been built on unstable ground. They have been shored up three times already, according to local voices.
