Lakes and mountains

Colorado has plenty of both and we spent most of the day hiking some of them.

The highest was at about 11,000 feet and, strangely enough, for the first time I felt the impact of altitude: light headed and a bit short of breath. It's bizarre 'cos I've been higher up when in the Alps and had never experienced this.

So we just slowed down the pace a tad and enjoyed the amazing scenery :)

We're spending the next day in Boulder (I think some shopping is in order...) before flying back to DC on wedn.
