Sad

A friend came round this morning with his chainsaw to do major surgery on a couple of trees (others need work but there might be nesting birds in them) and so that meant my morning was taken up with  directing operations and clearing up the smaller bits.
Before we'd started I found this bluetit lying dead on the hedge, unclear what happened to it.
Much cooler today as there's no sun but I planted out some squash plants under protection and then came in and entered the Corrieyairack Challenge in a couple of months - 11+ miles run then about 40 miles cycle - was this wise?!
