Painted Tulips

Abstract Thursday this week as a "painterly" theme, and so this purple and red bed got the palette knife treatment.

Hurray, there's been a little (very little) rain today, and the ground is saying thank you. Enough even to begin to fill the front gutters 1000 litre rainwater store I put in the other week to augment the rear gutters 250 litre butt.

On a sadder note, we no longer have chickens. They went overnight, for fox sake. I've spent the day clearing up. Nature, red in tooth and claw.
