meeting

This morning I was at a meeting of the Dunscore Heritage Group. Specifically to look at the design and content of the interpretation boards and leaflets for the new Heritage centre which is being created as part of the church repair and renovation programme. These will cover the history and architecture of the church, the history of the village, and the life of Jane Haining, who was born in Dunscore and died in Auschwitz.

A lot of very fruitful discussion went on - so much interesting information! We are hoping that the building will be ready in a few months' time so there is plenty of work still to do :-)

Time to get outdoors into the garden now, I think..
